Delphi advisor to Invafresh Inc. in acquisition of Whywaste AB

Delphi has assisted Invafresh Inc. in connection with the acquisition of Whywaste AB. The closing took place on 3 October 2023.

Invafresh is an industry leading provider of software solutions for grocery retailers. The acquisition of Whywaste, a market leading provider of end-of-life product solutions for grocery retailers, enables Invafresh to accelerate global growth and extends the functionality of their AI/ML enhanced Fresh Retail Platform with Whywaste’s end-of-life solutions, including advanced date checking, markdown price optimization, and donation platform capabilities.

Customers using the Whywaste platform on average realize 30 percent less waste and 17 percent increase in revenue from optimizing discount pricing. Invafresh’s acquisition of Whywaste provides an increased opportunity to help grocery retailers reduce waste, increase revenue, and achieve their sustainability goals.
