Delphi advisor to AddLife in the acquisition of EuroClone
Delphi has advised AddLife AB in the acquisition of the Italian company EuroClone S.p.A.
AddLife is an independent distributor within Life Science that offer high-quality products, services and advice to both the private and public sectors. The corporation develops and acquires profitable companies in selected niche areas in the segments diagnostics, biomedical research and laboratory analysis and medtech. In 2018, AddLife had a turnover of SEK 2 482 million.
EuroClone is a leading supplier of instruments and consumables in the field of cell and molecular biology in Italy with headquarters in Milan. The company currently has 58 employees and sales of EUR 27 million in the Italian market. The company’s end customers are primarily hospital laboratories, research centres, private clinics and industrial centres in Italy. The acquisition represents AddLife’s entry into the Italian market in a segment in which the company is already an established supplier in the Nordic market. AddLife already conducts business in Italy in the Medtech business area. Closing is expected to occur in January 2020.
Delphi has been lead counsel in the acquisition and cooperated with the law firm NCTM Studio Legale in Italy.
Delphi’s team mainly consisted of Fredrik Mörner as responsible partner with assistance from several other lawyers at Delphi.
