Elisabeth Eklund, Partner in our practice group for EU and competition, has once again been appointed as one of several Non-Governmental Advisor by the Swedish Competition Authority within the International Competition Network, ICN, in the working group for Unilateral Conduct (abuse of dominance as well as vertical restraints) during the coming year. The Unilateral Conduct Working Group is working to increase the understanding of issues related to unilateral actions by companies with a dominant position and to increase convergence in this area. The ICN’s mission is to advocate the adoption of superior standards and procedures in competition policy around the world, formulate proposals for procedural and substantive convergence, and seek to facilitate effective international cooperation to the benefit of member agencies, consumers and economies worldwide.
Elisabeth Eklund has extensive experience of all forms of competition law advice. She advises numerous companies in various industries regarding cartels, vertical restraints, abuse of dominance issues, merger control, dawn raids and act as counsel in competition litigations etc.
