Delphi advises on divestment of Svensk Glasåtervinning Aktiebolag

Delphi has advised Dagligvaruleverantörerna, DLF, Sprit & Vinleverantörsföreningen, Svensk Dagligvaruhandel Ekonomisk förening and Sveriges Bryggerier AB in the divestment of a total of 80% of the shares in Svensk Glasåtervinning Aktiebolag (“SGÅ”) to Ardagh Glass Limmared AB. The acquisition has been authorised by the Swedish Competition Authority prior to implementation.

SGÅ is active in the processing of glass packaging waste in Sweden and is the only Swedish company that processes recycled glass packaging waste on the Swedish market. SGÅ’s recycling facility is the only glass packaging recycling facility in Sweden and has been collecting and recycling glass packaging throughout Sweden for over 30 years, delivering the country’s 90% glass recycling rate. SGÅ had a turnover of approximately 300 MKR in 2023.
